  • Associate Dean for Research and Strategic Initiatives, College of Design, Construction & Planning (2024–Present) — executive oversight of a $10M+ sponsored-research portfolio. Oversaw research, graduate, and faculty affairs.
  • Interim Director, Sustainability and the Built Environment Program (2025–2026) — unit-head responsibility for budget, curriculum, faculty assignments, and the program’s external advisory board (150+ students).
  • Co-Chair, UF Council for Research Associate Deans (2025–Present) — represents research leadership across all 16 UF colleges.
  • Member, UF Graduate School Advisory Council (2023–Present).
  • Member, UF Smart City Initiatives (2023–Present) — joined university delegations to Japan and South Korea (2025).
  • Director, Graduate Programs & Research, Rinker School of Construction Management (2021–2024) — led the first curriculum overhaul in 25+ years; managed ~40 active doctoral students.
  • Member, UF DCP Junior Faculty Mentorship Program, “Mentoring Matters 1.0” (2018–2022).
  • Member (Senator), University of Florida Faculty Senate (2018–2022) — twice elected by college faculty.

  • Chair, ASHRAE TC 4.5 Fenestration, Handbook Subcommittee (2021–Present) — leads international updates to Chapter 15 of the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals.
  • Board of Directors, National Fenestration Rating Council (2015–2016; 2019–2024) — including Secretary of the Executive Board (2019–2021) and Audit Committee (2015–2016).
  • Founder & Organizer, First International Workshop on UrbSys, ACM BuildSys (2019).
  • Director, Technology & Innovation, The Green Roundtable, Boston (2009–2010) — created the “Nexus Net Zero Energy” training series (18+ courses); USGBC Massachusetts Innovation in Green Design Award.
